United Kingdom’s tech.co.uk is a major technological website that reports on all things electronic. The Nintendo DS has sold 50 million units in only three years; it took the nintendo gameboy about 16 years to sell 119 million. At the rate the DS is selling it will only take about 6 and a half years to beat the gameboy’s over sales. The quick selling of the DS is showing how Nintendo is expanding the video game market to a wider audience.

Financial Times website is a daily financial list that keeps track of all fortune 500 companies and their up and coming plans. Sony is shifting the advertising focus of the Playstation 3 from being a video game machine to a low priced Blu-ray player. Sony is trying to make Blu-ray the dominant next generation disc format over HD-DVD. The change of focus can also help the Playstation 3’s lagging sales in the console market.

Despite having had the bond of man and dog betrayed, they still look at humans with love and-God knows why-trust.

This page is dedicated to a historical group of dog breeds, which were once bred and selected for their exceptional qualities suitable for protecting humans and for fighting animals” pg1 (par 1)

Dog fighting is an insidious underground organized crime that deserves much legal and political scrutiny. The blood sport, once sanctioned by aristocracy, embraced by medieval gentry and later promoted by colonial and Victorian miscreants, is now completely outlawed in the United States. Pg1 (par 1)

Here is a very weird but interesting story about a pit bull attacking a porcupine. Even though the dogs are very intelligent they are very instinctive. Their instinctive ness actually overrides their intelligence.

Filer, Joyce. The Mystery of the Egyptian Mummy. London: Oxford University Press, 2003.

Filer covers a vast array of subjects pertaining to these great people, the Egyptians. This book proved to be a trustworthy reference to build my background research. He goes through the steps through out the different dynasties that they took to perfect the art of mummification. In those days you had to be wealthy to be mummified, even the lowest price was too expensive for ordinary people. I found it fascinating that not only did they want to enter the after life themselves, but also for their pets, and animals that they were fond of.

Hawass, Zahi. Valley of the Golden Mummies. New York: Harry N. Abrams INC, 2000.

Zahi Hawass is a great writer, for my research paper I have two books beautifully written by Zahi. Here he tells of his personal experience with curses. He goes into detail on the life changing experiences that he encountered while excavating and processing some of the artifacts from these mysterious tombs of the Egyptians. This book gives incite on old practices of archeologists and how there practices gave total disregard for these people. You can tell that Zahi has a tremendous respect for these people. He writes of these wonderful people in his books to give them eternal life after all.

Landau, Elaine. The Curse of Tutankhamen. Brookfield, Connecticut: Millbrook Press, 1996.

In Elaine's book "The Curse of Tutankhamen", she includes information relevant to support my position on the Ancient Egyptians beliefs. This book gives accounts of many individuals that lost their lives in the days following the excavation of Tutankhamen's tomb. I found this book very interesting. There are many facts pertaining to time of death, and cause of deaths that are very interesting. In my research I wanted to include some actual instances where a curse was found in a tomb. Many untold stories lay to rest in these deserts in Egypt and this book only sheds light on a small one. Even though so small, this story is one of revenge, betrayal, sabotage, and butchery. It’s a shame that people had to loose their lives due to their curiosity, and disregard for the resting places of a powerful nation.
